By using Capalls (game, site), you (player, players) agree to abide by the Terms of Service at all times. You understand that breach of these Terms may result in a loss of privileges within the site, freezing of your account, or banning from the site.
The Terms of Service are as follows:
- Capalls is intended for players 13 and up, and its content is PG-13. Players under the age of 13 are NOT authorized to use this site. By registering for Capalls, you assert that you are over the age of 13. Please view our Statement for Parents.
- Each player may have only one account UNLESS it is approved by Administration for one of the following reasons:
- Multiple players using the same computer (siblings, etc.)
- You have purchased an account from an official Capalls auction.
An administrator must approve second accounts before they are created. Failure to notify an administrator may result in your account(s) being frozen without warning. Accounts found to have been made for the purpose of cheating will be frozen automatically, and repeated breach of this rule may result in your permanent banning from the site.
- Accounts will not be deleted. Frozen or banned accounts will have inventory, currency, and capalls removed and recycled back into the game. Capalls reserves the right to re-assign these accounts at a later date.
- Every player is subject to the same rules and terms, regardless of contributions to the site. A donation, while greatly appreciated, does not exempt you from the rules.
- Site materials (virtual 'horses', 'Capalls Credits', 'Capalls Tokens', accounts, items, etc.) may not be sold for real world currency. These may be traded for currencies of other SIM games. These materials may be removed at any time as a consequence of breach of Terms.
- Inappropriate content, including links to such content, is not permitted. Such content includes, but is not limited to, excessively graphic, violent, prejudiced, racist, sexual, or pornographic images or other media.
- Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to, spamming, flooding, trolling, flaming, bashing, swearing, rudeness, harassment, cheating, lying, stealing, or hacking is not tolerated. Being on the computer does not give you the right to abandon common decency. If you wouldn't do it in 'real life', you should not be doing it here.
- The use of images, prose, or other artistic media without permission from the artist is copyright infringement (also known as "art theft"), and is a crime everywhere, not only on Capalls. This is taken very seriously on this site, and will result in serious consequences. (For information on copyrights, creative commons, and crediting, click here.)
- Bugs or loopholes in the game must be reported. Abuse of bugs, loopholes, or other 'cheats' is cheating and will not be tolerated.
- All other site Terms of Service are respected here. Breach of another SIM or any other website's Terms of Service or policies will not be tolerated on Capalls.
- Capalls. is not a dating service. Any forms of posting "ads" and the like are not acceptable.
- Posting personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, and full names should be avoided at all costs, as it is an extremely dangerous practice. Such information will be deleted on sight.
- Capalls is not responsible for any emotional distress that may be caused by the game or players on it. We do our very best to monitor everything as closely as possible, but we cannot guarantee we can be everywhere at once.
- While it is our goal to keep Capalls open for as long as players want to play, the site may be closed at any time, and donations will not be refunded.
- Personal information such as IP numbers, e-mails, passwords, etc. is stored by our systems and may be viewable by administrators. This information will not be shared with any outside parties and is used solely for the purpose of account log-ins and security.
- All content on this site (ideas, concepts, artwork, etc.) is (C) to Capalls and is not to be redistributed or reused under any circumstances without direct permission from the owner.
- These Terms are subject to change at any time. Players will receive notification when changes have been made, and will not be punished ex post facto.
